Life University is a for-profit
university – meaning their main goal is to rake in money by any
means possible.
Life University is best known for
LOSING their accreditation – During my years at Life University I
would reveal the fact I was a student at Life. The response I would
usually receive “didn't they lose their accreditation?”
Life University's President is among
the Top paid in the nation according to the NYTimes.
“among the five highest paid
presidents at master’s level institutions are Guy F. Riekeman, the
president of Life University, in Marietta, Ga., which is known for
its chiropractic program”
Life University's president is
notorious for making false claims. Such as the average Chiropractors
income is $230,000 per year. (Stated in business class by Riekeman in
2009)
Life University no longer has a police
force. It was cut to to fund Riekeman's salary.
Life University has covered up DEATHS
on campus by silencing the media with money.
Life University majors in hypocrisy –
In order to be excused for a sickness the letter must be from a
doctor and NOT a chiropractor.
Life University staged a school
shooting without telling the students, with men wearing masks and
armed with guns who fired blank rounds at the students. The president
denied any knowledge that the event was planned. Several students
suffered panic attacks because of the this. (November 2010)
Life University has been served with
multiple lawsuits for Misrepresentation.
Life University burdens the students
with large debt quickly to discourage them from leaving. The average
debt is $45,000 per year.
